Our children's vision for making the world a better place
OUR GRAND PLAN
The last time our EEP group met together we decided on our major project.
We decided to broadcast a radio programme for our whole campus. The aim of our radio programme will be to teach the Preps, Year 1, 2 and 3s a little bit about poverty and pollution.
We are planning to braodcast over the P.A. system at school sometime next term while people are eating their lunch in their classroom.
At the moment, we are not quite sure if we are going to broadcast everyday for a week or whether we will broadcast on one day a week for a few weeks.
The Year 2s will be in charge of creating jingles and commerials which teach people about pollution. The Year 3s will be in charge of running the radio broadcast and teaching people about poverty.
At the moment, we are deciding on how we are going to broadcast and what we're going to be talking about.
We are looking forward to teaching the other children (and teachers) a little bit about pollution and poverty. We are also looking forward to recording our radio show and helping people make this world a better place. We think it will be fun!
