At our EEP session this week we discussed Poverty and Pollution and came up with our wonderings. Here they are:
Pollution:
• What causes the most pollution?
• How could we stop pollution?
• Why is there pollution?
• Why do people throw rubbish on the ground?
• Can pollution lead to fire?
• Why do people smoke?
• Why do people deliberately light bushfires?
• What is the most polluted country in the world?
• China burns paper, cell phones and houses. How about burning that bad habit?
• Why, when you put rubbish in the bin, does it still cause pollution?

Poverty:
• How much of the world is in poverty?
• What is poverty?
• How does poverty affect the world or environment?
• What is the poorest country in the world?
• Why is there poverty?
• What causes poverty?
• How can we stop it happening?
• Why don’t people donate?
